Each person who indicates that they want to make Trinity their church automatically participates in Ministry Teams. There are 10 teams made up of between 10 and 20 people each. Each group is led by a trained and supported leader. Their job is to facilitate the group. Each group decides itself how to organise themselves so that each person is welcomed, nurtured and encouraged in their discipleship and ministry. These groups are the main place where people share life, faith and service. Each group also shares responsibility for a variety of tasks on Sunday once every 10 weeks. The tasks include welcoming people to worship, reading the Bible, leading prayers, preparing and serving refreshments etc. It is intended that each person will be supported and encouraged to be involved in new areas of service each time the team is “on duty”.
